My gaze turns to photography and the historical process it has been through.

 

I choose Frida to be my partner in traveling through time to explore the depths of this media.

 

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. The light falls on her figure and bounces through the lens, blackening the metal grains. Slowly, her body matures. Slowly, we grow closer to one another, grandmother and granddaughter.

 

Using various tools, my work examines the photographic process from a contemporary perspective. 

 

This examination creates a new reality, born from Frida’s dedication and devotion to photography and me, and from me to photography and her.
