I choose my photographed figures usually according to their external visibility. My embarrassment towards them is my attraction and reluctance simultaneously. I find that when I'm most embarrassed in front of the situation, is when I need to click the camera.

The project's name- "Ekkyklema"- is a phrase taken from the ancient Greek Theatre. The Ekkyklema was a wheeled platform rolled out to the center stage, and was used to bring interior scenes out into the sight of the audience.

The results of the human impulse to hide and display something other than the authentic or natural, and the ways it finds its expression, promoted me to search for the subjects' "secret", that most of all contain parts from secrets of my own.
